A turban is a symbol of religious importance and significance for a Sikh. It is an article which represents respect, courage and spirituality of a Sikh person. It is to be worn every time and only to be taken off while taking a bath.
There were times when people from around the world, knowingly or unknowingly, asked Sikhs to remove their symbol of respect which resulted in humiliation for a Sikh, the bravest community on Earth. Maybe countries around the world need to be a little more tolerant and welcoming for people from various ethnic backgrounds and religions.
