There is no doubt that all of you must have seen this epic movie at least 50 times or maybe even more. The name Sholay is so popular in India that every kid learns this name by the time they turn 4 years old. So, everyone knows the story of the movie. Right?
Now let’s assume that the story is set in modern day. Here is how the story would unfold.
The Background
The film follows two criminals, Veeru and Jai, hired by a retired police officer to capture ruthless dacoit Gabbar Singh who is looking for nothing but free WiFi access for Ramgarh so that he along with his gang members can watch unlimited porn and other bullshit things day and night. WiFi access for Ramgarh is currently given to a limited number of people in the village including Imam sahab and Basanti’s Mausi. Whosoever wishes to access the internet can ask either one of them.
Earlier, Gabbar had tried to hack the WiFi password but it was secured by Ramlal, Thakur’s servant, who graduated from IIT and has a knack of technology & cyber security products. Because of his sheer inability to hack the WiFi Gabbar killed Thakur’s family members.
Now Thakur wants to take revenge by killing Gabbar Singh.
1. Jai and Veeru currently in a prison for their crimes but somehow they find a way to exit the prison using wrong means. They have an iPhone which has Jailor’s last night party pictures with Radhe Maa.
2. As soon as Jailor’s sidekick Hariram hears both of them discussing iPhone. He immediately rushes to the Jailor to share the information.
3. Later during the day, Jailor comes for a check to figure out who has the iPhone. And, that’s when he is fooled by Jai & Veeru who use a dummy iPhone to exit the prison.
4. After leaving the prison, they went to their old friend who had the reward money.
5. That’s when Thakur proposes both of them to help him in killing Gabbar. Both of them agreed in return for facebook likes and Paytm cash.
6. Thakur makes all necessary arrangements for them- booking an Ola Tanga for them to easily reach Ramgarh without any delay. The Tanga lady arrives as soon as they reached Ramgarh.
7. While Jai is sleeping on the back seat, Veeru starts a conversation with Smoking Hot Basanti Tange Wali and befriends her.
8. Thakur remembered that moment when Gabbar cuts off both his arms for not giving the Wifi Password.
9. Gabbar also had a really bad habit of checking the reward amount on him again and again. Frustrated Sambha had to answer his request everytime.
10. In an attempt to complete the mission soon, Jai & Veeru followed Gabbar to his late night parties as well.
11. And a couple of days later, Gabbar was killed by Thakur sahab with the help of Jai & Veeru. Unfortunately, Jai loses his life before completing the mission.
12. The Celebration time begins in Ramgarh and now all Ramgarh folks can have unlimited access to Wifi from their houses. No password protection anymore.
