NDA 1 had earlier banned Fashion TV and now Porn. Last month, Supreme Court Chief Justice H.L. Dattu had received a PIL on porn ban, and he said, “Somebody may come to the court and say look I am above 18 and how can you stop me from watching it within the four walls of my room. It is a violation of Article 21 [Right to personal liberty]”. The decision to ban porn is a severe violation of our fundamental rights, liberty and freedom of choice.
There is a interesting wave going regarding the ban over #PORN in India. We wanted to clear that we are neither against this ban nor in favor but we have our veiwpoint.
Their supporters believe that porn is the reason behind the rise to rape, It seems they are competing with Khaps who declare that eating “Chowmein leads to Rape.”
