What most people in the age group of 20-30 can never think of doing, this 50-year-old man named Carlton Williams has done it with gusto. He not only achieved the world record for the maximum number of push-ups in one hour but also proved it that age is just a number that can never get in the way of your fitness and strength.
Certainly, Carlton Williams would be a happy man who pumped out an incredible 2,220 push-ups in one hour on 25 July 2015 in Margaret River area in Western Australia.
The construction worker said that he has been dedicatedly preparing for this challenge for last 3 months. In an interview with Mr. Williams said, “Basically, I didn’t really feel that much pain.” “I got a shoulder injury – that was my biggest problem after a while you just get used to it,” he further added.
It was really exciting to know that Mr Williams broke his own record of 1,874 push-ups last year in January at the Bodyclub Fitness Centre on Station Road in Australia.
I think we all have a lot to learn from his strength and will power. May god gives you more strength and you continue to set records like this in future. For people who are interested in getting some more motivation, you can watch the entire recording .
