Not just me, I think all of you must have faced a situation where you felt like doing it there and then. Right? Well if that is the case, this article is especially meant for you. Like most of us, these guys faced similar challenge looking out for a public toilet.
But these guys did one extra thing that we never thought of. Yes, they took this as an opportunity and developed an app which will help people like us in locating a clean toilet nearby and also review it. Isn’t that cool?
Let’s take a look at these change agents.
1. Mudit Tyagi
In India, you can easily find malls nowadays, but it is very difficult to find a public toilet, leave alone a clean one. The same challenge Mudit faced while on his way from Meerut to Delhi along with his mother. As a result of his inability to find a public toilet for his mother, he developed an app called SUSUVIDHA so that people don’t have to face such challenges. This app can help you locate nearby toilets, add new toilets and review the toilets as well. You can download the app .
2. Vipul Ujwal & Sonali Giri (Both IAS – Punjab)
The couple also had a similar story. The app is a result of their own frustratingly futile search for a toilet in Delhi’s Connaught Place. Besides locating and reviewing a toilet, this app will also tell you how clean the toilet is. And it will soon be rolled out by the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD), under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ambitious Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. 3. Kunal Sheth
Your search for a clean washroom ends here. All you gotta do is to download GottaGo. Quite a similar story as previous two thought leaders, Kunal visited Mumbai with his family back in 2010, it was his inability and frustration to find a clean washroom around that led to the creation of this app. The app currently works Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Pune, Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad etc. You can download it .
