Liver Transported From Mysore To Bangalore In Just 2 Hours And Saved A Life

You know how difficult it is to travel to one place to another during the festivities. Most of the people tend to avoid travelling during the festival season because of heavy rush on the roads.

All credit goes to Mysuru Police which created a 160 Km signal free corridor to reduce the time to transport a liver required for a crucial transplant operation. As a result of the efforts, the liver was ferried in a record time of 2 hours 15 minutes. It usually takes about 4 hours to cover the same distance.

The liver was transferred from BGS Apollo Hospital, Kuvempunagar, Mysuru to Apollo Hospital on Bannerghatta Road in Bengaluru.
