Housing.com, the controversial real estate website, has been hacked. Visitors to the site are finding this on the homepage:
The hack comes mere days after Rahul Yadav, the former CEO, was unceremoniously sacked by the Housing.com board. The board blamed his behaviour as the reason behind their decision. They stated that Yadav’s behaviour is not befitting of a CEO and is detrimental to the company.
“The Housing Board, unanimously agreed to bring Yadav’s tenure to a close, with reference to his behavior towards investors, ecosystem and the media. The Board believed that his behaviour is not befitting of a CEO and is detrimental to the company…”
He had set the Internet on fire a few months ago with a badass resignation letter to the company, where he had openly expressed his displeasure with the board members and investors calling them intellectually incapable of decision-making.
No one has yet claimed responsibility of the hack, though some are claiming that the words “Chief Architect” is a reference to Rahul Yadav.
However, Yadav took to Facebook to clarify that he has no hand in the hacking, while taking a dig at the hacker’s poor style.
But Twitter found the incident most amusing.
reminds of the incident of the kid who got out. "Bat mera hai. Mein ghar jaa raha hoon".
