1. World record for the longest motorcycle
The longest motorcycle is 26.29 m (86 ft 3 in) long and was created by Bharat Sinh Parmar from Jamnagar, Gujarat, on 22 January 2014. It is 4 meters longer than the previous record holder.
2. World record for the most number of trees planted in 12 hours
The record was achieved by the Forest Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh for planting 14,372, 801 trees in 12 hours. The trees were planted at 9272 locations in MP with the help of volunteers on 31 July 2014.
3. World record for the largest human flag
The largest human national flag involved 43,830 participants and was achieved by Rotary International District 3230 and News 7 Tamil (both India) at the YMCA Grounds Nandanam in Chennai, India, on 7 December 2014.
4. World record for the most pledges received for a safety campaign
The most pledges received for a safety campaign is 318,445 and was achieved by Abbott Healthcare (India) for their road safety campaign across India, collected on 29 April 2015.
5. World record for the longest singing marathon
Sunil Waghmare from Nagpur sang non-stop for 105 hours. The record attempt started at 11.06am on 3 March 2012 and ended in the evening of 7 March 2012. He suffered from drowsiness during the marathon, but he went on with persistence.
6. World record for the largest blood donation camp
The world record was achieved by Mother blood bank founder Sai Akash Mamidi on 21 April 2015. It involved 102, 015 participants in 102 blood donation camps across 18 cities in India.
7. World record for the maximum number of sixes by any player in a one-day international (Male)
It is achieved not by one, but three individuals – Rohit Sharma, Chris Gayle and AB De Villiers. Rohit Sharma hit 16 sixes during a match at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on 24 February 2015.
8. World record for the largest writing competition
The record is held by Dainik Bhaskar Group which organized the largest writing competition between 1-4 February 2012. A total of 300,874 participants across 12 Indian states and 52 cities.
9. World record for the largest Abacus
The largest abacus measured 6.79 m x 3.2 m (22.3 ft x 10.5 ft) and contained 83 beads. It was made by Ajit Singh from Bhopal, India, on 24 September 2011 The abacus weighs 119 kg (262.35 lbs).
10. World record for the longest journey by bicycle in a single country
The longest journey by bicycle in a single country is 14576 km. It was achieved by Prasad Erande who travelled on his bicycle throughout India from 22 June 2014 to 9 November 2014.
11. World record for the largest biryani
World’s largest biryani was prepared by Kohinoor Foods Ltd. in Delhi on 1st March 2008. The total quantity was 14.060 tonnes.
12. World record for the longest dance marathon by an individual
The world record is achieved by Kalamandalam Hemaletha from Thrissur, Kerala. She danced for 123 hours and 15 minutes at the Kerala Sangeetha Nadaka Academy from 20-26 September 2010.
