We are just hours before the start of auspicious festivities of Ganesha Chaturthi and the entire nation is preparing to kick off this festival with a lot of celebrations. This is a festival which is primarily celebrated in Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh but other states also celebrate this festival with more or less the same kind of rituals.
The festival is celebrated for 10 days and everybody worships idols of lord Ganesha in temples, community centres and homes. The idol vary in sizes and shapes and artisans give a modern touch to the status of lord Ganesha every year according to the trend so that the sale increases.
