Drishyam Review: A Must Watch

Drishyam is one of the finest movies of this year. The movie has an amazing plot with great screenplay and direction by Nishikant Kamat. It is a remake of Jeethu Joseph’s Malayalam film Drishyam. The movie is about a family which is caught up in an unexpected murder of Goa’s Inspector General’s Son. It then revolves around that murder mystery with IG Meera (Tabu) has Vijay’s family (Ajay Devgn) as prime accused and while Vijay is trying to save his family. The movie has tension which very well came out in a lot of scenes.

The movie moves slowly for first 30-40 minutes. But towards the end of first half and the entire second half will keep you at the edge of your seats. Overall, Drishyam works because you feel for every character in the film. Drishyam works because it leaves you stunned. Drishyam works because it keeps you glued to your seat till the last moment. Drishyam works because it’s a finely crafted suspense thriller after a really long time.

Ajay Devgan’s acting is good. Tabu is to watch out for with other main actors also played their part wonderfully. Overall, it is a great watch for this weekend for all cinema lovers.
