Karva Chauth is a Hindu Festival which is celebrated primarily in North India. The word Karva means ‘pot of water’ and the word Chauth means ‘fourth’ which signifies ‘fourth day of Kartik month or fourth day of the dark fortnight’.
Married women observe fast on this day for the safety and long life of their husbands. Usually, men have no role to play in the festival. The day remains as usual for them. So, we thought of ways how men can make a difference this Karva Chauth.
Take a look.
1. Observe Fast
It’s time for men to return the favor and observe fast along with their lovely ladies. Don’t worry about anything. At least, you would lose some calories this Karva Chauth.
2. Prepare for Sargi
Sargi is a pre-dawn meal which is usually prepared or given by mother-in-law. You can play a role by waking up early in the morning and help them arrange the stuff.
3. Plan an outing
While your wife would be busy throughout the day in Karva Chauth traditions, you can take time out and plan an outing after the fast is complete. Maybe a great dinner followed by some shopping or movie etc.
4. Arrange for surprises
This is your day to make her feel special. Don’t let it go. Arrange for some really cool gifts to make her day even more beautiful.
5. Take a day off
Obviously you’ll have to take a day off for doing all things mentioned above.
