This 98-Year-Old Couple Recreates Their Wedding Day 70 Years Later Is The Best Thing You’ll See Today

If there’s one thing that can stand the tyranny of pain and suffering, it is LOVE. And, wedding is a promise to stay with each other for the rest of your lives.  Each year couple celebrates their wedding anniversary to mark the strength of their love growing every year. And, when it is the 70th anniversary of the couple. Without a doubt, it deserves a very special celebration. Right??

Well, that’s what the children of this 98-year-old couple did. They recreated the wedding day on their 70th anniversary.

The Chinese couple Wang Deyi, 98, and Cao Yuehua, 97, got married on 24th November 1945 in Northern Hot Springs Park in Southwestern China.

They first met in 1943 at a function organized by National Southwestern University.

They barely remember too many things from their life but can still recite the love poems they wrote to each other during the wartime.

The couple had their fair share of troubles and challenges especially when they were separated during the war and political turmoil. But their love for each other remained stronger.

“My dad asked my mom for a dance and they fell in love with each other almost at first sight. That’s it. That’s how my father met my mother,” said the younger son who is documenting these memories.
