Villains are an important part of Bollywood movies. Just imagine who would call him a hero if he is not done something heroic, something courageous, something really outstanding. Only villains can complete this circle of the triumph of good over bad. Without them, cinema would not be loved the way it is loved now. They bring the dramatic element to our cinema watching experience.
And, if a villain is strong like Gabbar or Mogambo, it makes the movie even more watchable. We never want to meet them in a dark alley but we sure as hellfire can’t do without them on celluloid.
