We did an article on highest paid CEO’s in the World some days ago. This is our next series about 10 highest paid CEO’s in India.

India is one of the fastest growing developing nations in the world. There are a lot of factors behind it including the fast industrial development, changing business climate, job creation, increase in FDI etc. And, it is becoming increasingly challenging for a business to grow especially with a lot of competition coming in.

Having said that, there are a lot of  big companies paying great pay packages to their top people to ensure that the business continues to be profitable in this fast changing environment.

Here is a list of 10 India CEO’s whose pay packages are the highest.

1. Kalanithi Maran (Annual Salary – Rs 56.25 crore/ $9.4 Mn) 
Chairman of the most profitable television network in Asia, Kalanithi Maran acquired SpiceJet, the most profitable airline in India.

2. Kavery Kalanithi (Annual Salary – Rs 56.24 crore/ $9.3 Mn)
Executive Director of Sun TV Network and wife of Kalanidhi Maran, she is the second highest paid executive on our list.

3. Naveen Jindal (Annual Salary – Rs 54.98 crore/ $9.1 Mn)
Chairman, Jindal Steel and Power Limited, Naveen Jindal is also a Member of Parliament from the Kurukshetra Lok Sabha constituency in Haryana.

Kumar Mangalam Birla took over as Chairman of the Aditya Birla Group in 1995 at the age of 28 years after the untimely demise of his father.
